Be A Bucket Filler

The other day during Kindergarten class, the school counselor read a wonderful book to the kids about being a "Bucket Filler".  A Bucket Filler is someone who fills another person's bucket with joy.

Everyone has a bucket but it's invisible.  However, there are people out there who like to be "Bucket Dippers".  They empty the bucket's of others by being mean or doing harmful things.

I thought this was a wonderful lesson to teach the kids now and as they grow hopefully, they'll keep this story lesson in mind forever.  It's a pretty good way to live your life.

What a simple way to teach a child to be nice. I love this!

Yep - it's a good lesson for us adults too. I know some bucket tippers out there!
