I decided to try my hand at this crafty idea I found on Brownpaper--packages. There are so many crafty ideas on there but, I picked this one because of two reasons: I need to spruce up my front entrance to my house and since the 4th of July holiday is approaching, this would make a great decoration.
First, I went to Home Depot and found the beadboard. The man working in that department was nice enough to cut it into 16x20 pieces. I had to buy the whole board so I was able to get 3 - 16x20 boards and 2 smaller boards that I plan to use for another project. Then, I went to AC Moore and found the rest of the materials needed to complete my project.
It took me about 5 hours to complete but some of that time was waiting for the paint to dry. I love the way they turned out.
I can't decide if I like it better with or without the frame. How do you like my model?
You can find complete directions here.

Wow..you did not breathe a word of this! They turned out great...I can't decide if I like it with the frame or without...they look good either way! They would make a nice gift...hint hint!
Very cool! I love it both ways, but preferably with the black frame. BTW, lovely model!
