Well, without a doubt, American Idol is my favorite reality show. Although it doesn't air until January or February, I anxiously await to see and hear the obnoxiously, bizarre, and eccentric people whose performances are not cut from editing because it brings a lot of drama and character to the show, plus it makes for good conversation with other Idol junkies.
Next, I have to say the Office is another favorite. To really appreciate and relate to the shows content, it helps to have actually worked in an office environment. The writer and producer for the Office have certainly done their homework because the episodes closely depict the everyday life in an office but with extremities or exaggerations and that's what makes the show so great. Steve Carell plays the hilariously and always politically incorrect Office Manager. I love his dry sense of humor and tacky antics. His character definitely makes the show.
And finally, I have to mention Oprah. Who doesn't like Oprah? Although, I'm not sure when new episodes air, I don't mind watching re-runs. Especially when Doctor Oz is on and he's explaining medical mysteries.

All I can say is...Like Mother Like Daughter.. I love the same shows. Thanks for paying Tracy and Happy FM. We need a host for next week...hint,hint!
I'm a fan of Dr. Oz also, Tracy. Love his non-judgmental advice on staying healthy. I had heard something about his having a show of his own. Do you know anything about that?
Not an Oprah Fan because until this year I've always worked during the day.
So-- I only heard about her through other people.
But my husband sits down and fall asleep during American Idol, so I sometimes watch the performances.
It's usually time well spent. (I'm always doing something else, too)
I'm amazed how many people say the Office. I never got it's appeal. Maybe it translates better in America than in Ireland!
If I watched TV much, I think I'd watch "The Office." That show really appeals to my sense of humor. I just don't think of it...
I used to like Oprah, but feel she has gotten to be so stuck up and pompous. I can't stand watching her any more. Give me Ellen any day!
I forgot about the Office. I love that show. I try to catch it when I can. Happy FM!
The Office seems to be a popular with quite a few people.
