Our assignment for this week comes from Church Lady and she would like us to do the following: Post a photo of your purse and if you care to share, describe what's inside your purse. Do you carry everything but the kitchen sink? Or, do you prefer to go light and carry only the necessities, such as your money and cell phone. For the men who would like to participate, post a photo of your wallet and describe what's in your wallet.
I'm a simple pocketbook kind of person. I buy a pocketbook, use it till it's ready to fall apart, retire it usually to the trash can, and go buy a new one. I am not one to keep up with the trends or have a pocketbook to match each outfit. The inside of my pocketbook is very simple as well. A wallet, checkbook, pen, mini address and phone book, calculator, cell phone, somewhere on the bottom a tube of lip stick, somewhere else on the bottom chap stick and usually some loose receipts and change floating around. When I'm out, it seems like I'm always looking for something I wished I carried like a tissue or something to take care of a headache. Fortunately, I'm usually with my Mom or sister (Church Lady) and they're ALWAYS prepared.

I like that purse! I buy them all the time. My kids make fun of me in a store because I always stop and look at the purses! The grab my arm and drag me through the aisle!
Thank God for sisters and Mom who are prepared...LOL I always liked your purse. You forgot to say all the kids stuff you have to carry also. But then again, you use the diaper bag for that. Your link had a mistake in it, so I put you in again with mr linky. Happy FM
Heck - that looks just broken in! My mom is always prepared for ANY eventuality, so I know I don't have to carry anything when I'm with her. Of course, I'm MOM to someone else, so I've got to be prepared!!!
I liked that one so much, I purchased it in black! Still have it too! It is the perfect size and has just the right amount of inside pockets for all your "stuff".

That is a well loved purse! Looks soft. And, aren't you glad we don't feel the need to change purses with each outfit? what a bother! Like you strategy of hanging out with sis and mom and knowing that they'll always have that odd thing that you need.
no matter what I do, if I put my cell phone or my keys in my purse -- DISAPPEAR!
I have to dump everything -- or have someone call my phone so it lights up. Ridiculous!

I'm with you when it comes to purses. Use 'em up, wear 'em out. Make it do, or do without.
the very best part about pocketbooks (my daughter still calls them handbags) is that they always fit!
I also wait till mine falls apart before replacing it. But I must admit I change to bigger baskets or totes for most days.
I love your purse, and although I didn't show a picture I recently bought a large one that I thought would double as a shopping bag. However I lose things at the bottom which is so annoying.
