Leather, Metal, and Screaming Mufflers

During my mini trip to Daytona Beach with my sister, Mom, and sister's in-laws, we got to enjoy the sights and sounds of Bike Week.  There was a lot of leather and holes in places that shouldn't have been.  A lot of spikes and chains, skeletons, big hair, shiny metal, and screaming mufflers.

I have to admit, it was exciting to be amongst such a notorious crowd.  A crowd known for their extreme styles in clothes and bikes.  For their rowdiness and round the clock parties.  For disturbing the peace along Atlantic Avenue all day and sometimes all night.  But, despite the bad rap, all the leather, spikes and tattooed cross bones, they really are down to earth "normal" people with very different lifestyles then mine.

Here's what I captured through my lens.

Who says Bike Week is for the young and beautiful?

Love their sneakers.  Too cute.
