Orioles bullpen. Can't get much closer then this. In this case, I'm so glad there is a fence. It's not very pretty but it's definitely serving a purpose.
I would not sit there without one of those sturdy fences. I'm not one of those people trying to catch the ball, I'm the one under my seat with my hands over my head.
Definitely want that fence there if sitting in that spot! All-around great image for capturing the action of the game! I like your blog header image, too.
Thanks for your visit and kind comment on my fence photo. Hope you have a great weekend. =)
Great shot. My brother has a dear friend that played for the Orioles, Brooks Robinson. He sent me the video of the unveiling of a statue of Brooks. We all loved the Orioles!
I would be glad of the fence, if I was standing there, too! Good thing they make those things sturdy, in case the catcher misses the ball! I love the cupola in your header!!! Sure looks like it has been through the wars!
I need to embiggen your photo, Tracy. Bet I could find my good Baltimore buddy there. He lives and breathes baseball--and the Ravens (whoever they are :-)
this is cool, great viewpoint. i just LOVE your header of the old steeple. it leaps out of the blog when i open it. I got a fence shot today that has shadows something like yours from last week, the one of the rope shadow
The minute I started scrolling down this picture I knew exactly where it was. We went there years ago and had the time of our lives. It seems to me that Babe Ruth used to drink beer across the street at a bar. I am getting old so I may have my stories all mixed up. Ah, such is life when one is aging. Love the picture. genie

I am not sure I would want to be where you are even with it there!
My fence is at Time Stand Still.
