We arrived Friday afternoon to clear, blue skies with temperatures in the 80's. We took advantage of the warm summer like weather and had lunch at St. Michaels Crab & Steak House situated right off the Miles River. After lunch, we browsed the charming little town and admired beautiful and unique art pieces that local artisan's crafted or painted in the stops that lined Talbot street.
That night for dinner, we decided to go back to the Crab and Steak House and order a dozen of steamed crabs. Some of the locals told us that the best crabs in Maryland come from the Miles River so we couldn't pass up the temptation.
After dinner, we went back to our room and enjoyed spectacular views of the Miles River from our balcony. We couldn't believe we were sitting outside in shorts and tee-shirts. It sure did make you crave summertime.
Even though our stay was short, our visit was very relaxing and enjoyable. Below are a few pictures from our mini vacation.
